Blood Orange Granita

Refreshing dessert for using a bounty of Blood Oranges.

Prep Time 30 mins
Cook Time 8 hrs


  • 500 ml Blood orange juiced
  • 250 ml Simple sugar syrup


  • Combine juice of blood oranges with cooled sugar syrup.
  • Pour into metal tray and freeze overnight.
  • Scrape from the sides with a fork to break ice. Keep working until ice resembles soft crystals.
  • Squeeze over juice of one lime to finish and serve.
