Pop’s Pecan Pie
Pop’s Pecan Pie
Grandma’s recipe for Pop’s favorite pie.
Ingredients
- 4 large Eggs (beaten)
- 1 1/3 cup Karo syrup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 3 tbs Butter (melted)
- 1 cup Pecan halves
- 2 cup Pecans (chopped)
- 1 10” deep dish pie shell
Instructions
- Mix together beaten eggs, Karo syrup, sugar, vanilla, and *slowly* stir in melted butter.
- Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake for an additional 35-40 mins.
