Grandma’s recipe for Pop’s favorite pie.

- 4 large Eggs (beaten)
- 1 1/3 cup Karo syrup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 3 tbs Butter (melted)
- 1 cup Pecan halves
- 2 cup Pecans (chopped)
- 1 10” deep dish pie shell
Mix together beaten eggs, Karo syrup, sugar, vanilla, and *slowly* stir in melted butter.
Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake for an additional 35-40 mins.
