This hearty dish, made with meat and vegetables in a spicy sauce, is perfect for these days when we need a real comfort food.

  • 100 g Ground meat
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 4 small Potatoes
  • 1 small Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 8 whole Mushrooms
  • 1 l Vegetable stock
  • 1 tbs Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Spicy paprika
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper


  • Peel potatoes and red pepper into cubes not too small and cut the carrot and the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
  • Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Mix the meat with the spices.
  • In a large pot, add a splash of olive oil and cook the garlic with the onion. After 2 minutes, add the seasoned meat and stir occasionally. Add the chopped tomatoes.
  • Next, add the potatoes and the carrot, cover with the vegetable stock and bring to boil for 15 minutes, then add the pepper and the mushrooms.
  • Let it simmer until the potatoes are done. Finally, season again if it needs it. Serve with finely chopped parsley.
