Grilled naan burger
Love naan with gravy? But what about a naan burger? This creamy, sauce-filled naan with juicy chicken patties will enhance your taste buds. This burger is a fusion of Indian tastes which will surely make you fall in love with it. This is the favorite snack that my family enjoys to eat, especially during Ramadan.
Ingredients
Naan
- 2 cup maida (wheat flour)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup curd
Patties
- 500 g boneless chicken
- 4 pieces of bread
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 tsp pepper powder
- salt to taste
Sauce
- 5 tbs mayonnaise
- 2 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tsp schezwan sauce
- 3 tsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbs oregano powder
Instructions
- For the naan, mix the maida, salt, baking powder, baking soda with the curd.
- Knead it and rest for two hours.
- Roll it into an oval shape and half fry.
- For the patties, grind all ingredients together and shape it into patties. Resting the ground chicken for half and hour makes it easier to shape into patties.
- For the sauce, mix all ingredients together and make a good orange coloured sauce.
- Now assemble the naan burger by adding the sauce and patties inside the naan. You can also add lettuce, onion or any other veggies you prefer.
- Apply some butter and coriander leaves and grill it with a grill machine or grill pan.
