Grilled naan burger

Love naan with gravy? But what about a naan burger? This creamy, sauce-filled naan with juicy chicken patties will enhance your taste buds. This burger is a fusion of Indian tastes which will surely make you fall in love with it. This is the favorite snack that my family enjoys to eat, especially during Ramadan.

Ingredients

Naan

  • 2 cup maida (wheat flour)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup curd

Patties

  • 500 g boneless chicken
  • 4 pieces of bread
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tsp pepper powder
  • salt to taste

Sauce

  • 5 tbs mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp schezwan sauce
  • 3 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbs oregano powder

Instructions

  • For the naan, mix the maida, salt, baking powder, baking soda with the curd.
  • Knead it and rest for two hours.
  • Roll it into an oval shape and half fry.
  • For the patties, grind all ingredients together and shape it into patties. Resting the ground chicken for half and hour makes it easier to shape into patties.
  • For the sauce, mix all ingredients together and make a good orange coloured sauce.
  • Now assemble the naan burger by adding the sauce and patties inside the naan. You can also add lettuce, onion or any other veggies you prefer.
  • Apply some butter and coriander leaves and grill it with a grill machine or grill pan.
